The Taste of Louisiana Festival is an annual Festival that takes place Saturday May 26th, 2012 Memorial Weekend on the Lake Charles Boardwalk in Lake Charles, Louisiana.

The Taste of Louisiana Festival is a unique family event that highlights Louisiana’s traditions, food, music, and culture collectively in one event. The event is designed to embrace the Cajun, Creole and Indian heritage of the State of Louisiana, and share the extraordinary to locals and visitors alike. This year we are an official event of the Louisiana Bicentennial Celebration!

EXPERIENCE LOUISIANA

FOOD. Can you imagine all of the Louisiana Cuisine in one place at one time? The Taste of Louisiana Festival features dishes from every Parrish of Louisiana such as Crawfish, Boudin, Gumbo, Etouffee and much more.

MUSIC. Enjoy the sounds of non- stop music from Louisiana’s Cajun, Zydeco, Jazz, and Brass Bands. Also, there’s plenty of space for you to dance the day and night away.

This years performer's include ; Keith Frank and The Soileau Zydeco Band ,Cajun Radio Artist of the year Horace Trahan and The Ossun Express,  Damon Troy and The Final five, Brandon Ledet and The Creole Touch, New Orleans  "Gogo Funk" Brass Band the Brass-a-holics and Bryan Fontenot and Outlaw INC .

CULTURE. Come learn a lesson on Louisiana's History. This area highlights some of Louisiana's unique cultural differences, influences and contributions through exhibits donated by various organizations.
