A Southwest Louisiana festival won the honor this year. Here is who it was.

It turns out that Friday’s Marshland Festival’s opening night was the farewell performance from our friends in Hip Boot Joe. We’re glad we got to capture them in their element one last time. Here’s their rendition of Journey’s “Lovin’, Touchin’, Squeezin’”. You’re welcome.

The 2011 Marshland Festival is this Friday night & all day Saturday inside the Lake Charles Civic Center.  Food, dancing and awesome entertainment are the highlights you can expect this weekend.
