We've all had days where we'd like to just walk off the job. That may be okay for some people, but not for a correctional center trusty.

For about a decade people have been trying to come up with a use for the old Harrah's parking garage. So far, there has been no progress made in that direction, but yesterday one man found the abandoned property just right for his purposes.

Billy James Lacombe may have escaped, but he only got as far as downtown Cameron.   Lacombe was arrested after a deputy spotted him in an alley between two businesses. Authorities are searching for a man who escaped from the Cameron Parish Jail Tuesday night. Cameron Parish Sheriff Ron Johnson said Billy James Lacombe, 45, has an extensive criminal record and should be considered dangerous.
