The City of Lake Charles' annual Downtown at Sundown begins Friday, May 19, 2017, and kicks off with a fully loaded music line-up that lasts through June 9. All just in time for the city's 150th birthday.

The Downtown at Sundown series is a great way to unwind after a long week. It's a free concert series on Friday nights taking place on the 600 and 700 blocks of Ryan Street. This Friday's concert features a Grammy nominated Louisiana group.

Put on your dancing shoes this Friday after work, grab the family, grab a lawn chair and head for the 700 and 800 blocks of Ryan Street. It's time to kick off the holiday weekend with Downtown at Sundown. It's a free downtown event you don't want to miss.
