Twitter Says Louisiana is the Saddest State in America, Beaumont the Most Bummed Out City

People study the strangest things.  For instance, researchers at the University of Vermont grabbed 10 million posts off of Twitter and used that highly scientific data to determine which states in America were the happiest and the saddest.  And we get to come in last in yet another list.  Well, whaddaya know -- that does make me kind of sad.

Five Cameron Parish Beaches Ranked Among 15 Most Contaminated in America

CNN is reporting that five Cameron Parish beaches have landed on a National Resources Defense Council (NRDC) list of the worst beaches in America.  Those five join 10 other national beaches ranked for the worst in bacteria counts and contamination problems.
