I'll never forget seeing the very first day of MTV. Of course, that station now appeals to those below the lowest common denominator, but when it was new and relevant, it was so much fun to watch. It was one of those songs that just didn't translate from MTV to the radio. While a lot of people enjoyed the eerie video, the song only made it up to #34 on the Billboard Top 40 charts. Just like a great many songs from every era, people vaguely remember it, but it's just not one of those "classic hits" that has a life of  it's own.
