Kinder's victory in the state championship football game has given the Kinder community a rallying point and a reason for a huge celebration. It all happens this Saturday with a parade at 11 am.

It was the biggest think to happen in Kinder since the announcement of the Casino. The Kinder Yellow Jackets won the Class 2A State Championship last Friday night by defeating the Many Tigers 34-20 in the Louisiana Superdome. The game was huge, the victory even bigger and but the sportsmanship after the game stole the show.

The #1 ranked LSU Tigers took care of business last Friday, beating then-No. 3 Arkansas 41-17, securing their spot in the SEC Championship.  The Tigers will play No. 12 Georgia this Saturday. All of the polls were released yesterday, and the Tigers are still #1 in all the polls -- plus, they widened their gap from first to second place in all polls.

Houston has lost only one game this season and they lost it to The Louisiana Swashbucklers! Standout linebacker Chris Hudler was once again instrumental in a very important win for the Bucs!
