This week, there was a stellar event that only happens 'once in a blue moon.' I can't tell you how many people were waiting for the giant orb to turn blue. Okay, that's not what a 'blue moon' means.
We all use the phrase,"once in a blue moon", but it's a misleading statement. In modern times, we use the term to describe an event that only happens rarely. The official meaning of a blue is quite simply two full moons in one month. So, if you only do something once in a blue moon, tonight's the night!
