Adrenaline rush

So I have to start this way...Do not try this at home.  These are professionals who have trained...blah, blah, blah...you get the picture. You ever get that "I'm stuck in a rut full of dull" feeling?  How do you break out of it?  I've got a few ideas, but here's a guy who really knows what to do...
