Suspect Arrested in Friday Night Slaying at Suffolk Manor

Just after 10 p.m. on Friday night, Lake Charles Police responded to a call at the Suffolk Manor Apartments regarding what was described as "suspicious circumstances."

Upon arrival at the scene, police discovered the body of a deceased female who, so far has not been identified. Following an investigation Lake Charles Police Department arrested a 51 Year old male in connection with the crime.

Ernest Glover was placed under arrest Saturday morning in connection with the homicide. Currently, no other information is available about this crime, but Deputy Chief Mark Kraus with the Lake Charles Police Department, says that additional information, including the name of the victim will be released to the public sometime today. The investigation in this matter is continuing.

Glover was booked and is being held on $500,000 bond.
