Sunday Breakfast Don Rivers Style — Banana Walnut Pancakes
Cook along with me and enjoy a delicious Sunday morning (or anytime) meal. Here is what you will need ...1 egg, 1 cup of flour, 1 cup of milk, 3 teaspoons of baking powder, one half teaspoon of salt, two tablespoons cooking oil, one tablespoon of sugar, one half ripe banana (mushed) and one quarter cup of nut pieces. I hope you're hungry!
Preheat your grill to about 300 degrees. Beat the egg in mixing bowl. Then add the flour, baking powder, salt, sugar and cooking oil. Pour the milk over everything and mix well with a whisk. Then add the banana and nuts. Cook on first side until many bubbles appear and then turn and cook the other side.
Serve with a little butter between each pancake and on top. I recommend a good cup of coffee and patio seating. Have a great Sunday morning.
