Stuff We Learned From TV That Isn’t True

Sometimes, when it comes to certain TV shows, the lines between truth and fiction get kind of out of focus. It's no so bad when we watch sci-fi or a sit-com, because we don't really expect those shows to be true and factual, however, there is a perception that shows like CSI and hospital and doctor are based on real science. Well, it's just not so.

Leave it to the folks at Mental Floss to burst our bubble when it comes to forensic science and medicine. In fact, the video points out that a lot of the forensic science used on CSI doesn't really even exist. I am crushed!
