State Police Holding Free Child Safety Seat Event This Saturday Sept 29

In an effort to keep people aware of the importance of child safety seats, the Louisiana State Police Troop D is holding their free child safety seat event this weekend.

The event is for parents and grandparents to stop by and have the State Police check your seat to make sure that your child and the seat are properly in sync.  You know is your kid bigger than the car seat they need?

Also, they can check your current car seat to see if it has expired.  Yes that is a real thing.  Trooper Senegal this morning on the air told us that car seats expire so let them check that out for you too this Saturday.

The event is this  Saturday September 29th, 2018 from 9am to Noon at Southwest beverage in Lake Charles.  They are located on Broad Street just off of Interstate 210.
