Paying less is always good, right?

I don't know about you, but I pay a hefty car insurance note every month. Granted, I have had a ticket or two in my life, but still, my monthly bill is exceptionally high. I'm sure many of you feel my paid as Louisiana has some of the highest auto insurance premiums in the country!

Unfortunately for me, this new decrease in auto insurance rates won't effect me, because it's only dealing with State Farm costumers. Believe it or not, of the over four million people in our state, State Farm covers one million of them.

Insurance Commissioner Jim Donelon says State Farm has cumulatively seen about an 8% drop per year.

“State Farm has now three times in the last nine months, the most recent to go into effect on April 1, lowered their auto insurance premiums,” said Donelon.

So look for a little decline soon, State Farm users!
