Snow This Week in Lake Charles?

Most places would not get all excited about a slight possibility of snow. We are not most people. It is so rare here in Lake Charles that the mere mention of the possibility causes excitement and blogs (like this one.)

Weather has a way of making forecasters look like fools. I will simply tell you that as of Monday afternoon the word "snowfall" appears in the Lake Charles 10 day forecast from The Weather Channel. Thursdays low is expected to reach 23 degrees with a 50% chance of precipitation. I am not advising you to go out and buy a sled; but maybe we could at least have a snowball fight. If it does snow ... we want to see your pictures (except where you guys write your name in the snow.)
