David Morgan is a Detroit native, who got into radio in the mid 1970’s after a stint in the US Army

Career stops have included Kenosha, WI, Bloomington, IN and Ocean City, MD before landing in Lake Charles in 1994

David and wife Ginger  have 7 cats:  Munchkin, Curly Jo, Hokey, Pokey (that’s right), Lady Jane Grey, Dirt Bag, and Nefertitti…Dave opens a lot of cat food!!

David still roots for his hometown sports teams the Detroit Tigers and even the Detroit Lions, and also enjoys watching college football. In fact, David and Ginger bet dinner on the outcome of the Michigan- Ohio State Football game and Detroit – Cleveland  baseball and football standings.

David and Ginger also enjoy attending McNeese Banners Series events.

What’s Your Favorite Junk Food?

For some of us, it’s a pile of hot, crispy French fries covered in oil and salt.  For others, it’s a thick slice of chocolate cake with a side of ice cream. For me, it depends.  Sometimes a meal just screams for dessert.  My first choice is almost always something chocolate.  Occasionally, a McDonald's Angus Burger with Mushrooms and Swiss fills the bill, and other times Wendy's Baconator is what I crave.

The Major League Baseball Season open last week, with  several  games televised, and the best part for me was we  weren't subjected to countless Yankees games.

Louisiana Department of Transportation Officials announced that the westbound lanes of the I-10 bridge will be closed tonight from 9 P.M. to 5 A.M. tomorrow morning, and the eastbound lanes will be closed tomorrow night from 9 P.M. to 5 A.M. Thursday morning.
