Short Preview of Elton John’s Upcoming CD — The Diving Board

Watching this brief trailer for Elton John's new work makes me very curious as to what other gems will be on the new album "The Diving Board."

On this preview is an all too brief snippet of the title cut from the album, and to my ears, it sounds like vintage Elton John. I don't mean that he is recycling his materiel. It sounds like he is returning to the great melodies and great lyrics (thanks to Bernie Taupin) of his very first album.

The Diving Board will be released in September. So far, the reviews have been quite good.
