Sex Offenders Arrested

There seems to be a rash of Sex Offenders who are failing to register and the CPSO has been kept busy rounding up the perps.

Chalk up two more to the CPSO.

Kim Myers, spokeswoman with the  Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office said Stephen R. Johnson, 44, and Paul E. Harris, 31, were arrested June 13 at their home on Toussaint Road.

Both men failed to renew their sex offender identification cards.

Johnson was convicted of sexual battery in May 1994 and April 1999 while Harris was convicted of indecent behavior with juveniles in May 2004.

Bond for was set at $5,000 each.
