It is certainly too late to make a difference in the season; but former NFL Commissioner Paul Tagliabue has overturned the Saints Players suspensions. So what does it mean?

While Tagliabue did find the players actions "detrimental to the league" ... he thought fines and not suspensions were in order. The four players affected are Jonathan Vilma, Will Smith, Scott Fujita and Anthony Hargrove. They can all play now. The question is will they now seek damages against the league? Tagliabue did not have nice things to say about the Saints organization stating "the entire case has been contaminated by the coaches and others in the Saints organization."

It is my personal opinion that the Saints have been hurt much more by Sean Peyton's suspension that any players suspension. When the special teams, offense and defense are all playing poorly ... that is due to a lack of leadership at the top. The league is getting exactly what they wanted. They have decimated our program and the fans are the ones who are suffering. Sorry but I had to get on my soapbox for just a minute.

The only thing we can say at this point is "wait till next year!"
