After the Bounty Gate scandal and Saints coach Sean Payton being suspended for a year, today the NFL has reinstated Payton back into the NFL.

It has been one crazy year for the New Orleans Saints organization.

First Bounty Gate, the pay for performance was exposed, then Saints Coach Sean Payton along with the General manager and several players were suspended. Then the whole court drama with the players and finally the suspensions handed down then overturned.

Now it seems to have come to a dramatic conclusion as the NFL has reinstated Head Coach Sean Payton back into the NFL.

The NFL informed New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton that he has been reinstated and can resume his duties as the Saints head coach, effective immediately,the league announced Tuesday.

Payton was suspended for the entire 2012 season for his role in the Saints pay t0 injure campaign which also saw four other players get handed suspensions. Those suspensions were overturned by an appeals court allowing those players to participate in games.

Payton is now allowed to attend the Senior Bowl this week in Mobile, Ala. Payton has a 68-43 record in seven seasons as the Saints head coach with a Super Bowl title won in 2010.
