Rusty Metoyer The Zydeco Singing School Bus Driver?

Lake Charles native Rusty Metoyer is best known for being one of the rising Zydeco stars in SWLA. He picked up the accordion at 14 after losing his grandfathers, and felt it his job to keep the tradition in the family alive and well. In 2010, out of high school, Rusty Metoyer and The Zydeco Krush was formed. Since then the band has released numerous albums and toured all over the world, including Holland and France.

When he's not squeezing the accordion, Metoyer drives a school bus for Calcasieu Parish. He posted a video about his recent bus inspection and made a hilarious realization. The bus he was given as a temporary replacement had a speedometer that goes well above the speed limit for the school bus. Rusty decided he needed to sing about it over the bus PA system. Could this be a new track for The Zydeco Krush?
