RIP Russell Johnson — The Professor [VIDEO]

Russell Johnson's name was not exactly a household word, but the minute you saw his face you knew it was 'The Professor' from 'Gilligan's Island.'

Johnson's passing leaves only Dawn Wells (Mary Ann) and Tina Louise (Ginger) of the original cast still living.

It was a fun show to watch, but what did he think about his fellow actors?

You may not have known this, but the Professor actually did have a name.  It was Roy Hinkley.  And he and Mary Ann weren't even mentioned in the show's original theme song.  They were just referred to as, quote, "and the rest."
