Ringo Starr Art Work Honored by France

Turns out the French love Jerry Lewis and Ringo Starr. Of course most folks know that the French hold Jerry Lewis and his films in very high regard, but now Ringo Starr's whimsical art has received an award from France.

Ringo Starr has been made a Commander of France's Order of Arts and Letters!

The award has nothing to do with Ringo being the drummer of The Beatles. France is honoring Ringo for his artwork which is now on display at a museum in Monaco. The award itself is the highest civilian award in France.
