Rescheduled Art Walk and Art Battle This Friday

The monsoon season has really wreaked havoc with all the outdoor events in the area. One of the events that had to be rescheduled is the Art Walk and Art Battle originally scheduled for last week has been moved to this Friday.

The good news is that, by this Friday the weather should be perfect for getting out and enjoying a few days of Spring weather. Perfect weather, in fact, for the Art Walk and Art Battle.

This Friday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Ryan Street will be closed to traffic and you can stroll around and check out every kind of art you could possible imagine. Take a break at one of the many restaurants in that area and watch the Art Battle where contestants try to come up with a mural in just one hour.

The Art Walk and Art Battle is a great event for the whole family and, of course, features the work of the Lake Area's many artist. It's a great chance to buy art by all these local artist so you can say you knew them "when."
