I had a great time in Sulphur Saturday morning at their "Great Strides" walk for the American Cancer Society.  The folks in Sulphur really got behind this event and helped make it quite a success.

There were some great high points during the event

One of the great happenings was before I even arrived at Sulphur's Heritage Square. As I was making my way to the event, the streets in the neighborhoods around the square we just packed with families making their way to the walk. Groups of twelve or or all wearing pink T-shits all on their way to the walk.

I was very happy to run into Sulphur Mayor Chris Duncan. He's a great guy and really cares very much about his city. As you can tell my the picture, he will set his dignity aside for a good cause!

I also ran into former Sulphur mayor Ron LeLeux. Ron and his family were also out in full strength to help support this great cause. Ron wasn't wearing a Tu-Tu, but he's the kind of guy who would if it would help someone!

Met a lot of new folks and got reacquainted with some old friends. Hats off to the folks of Sulphur for really stepping up to the plate for a great cause!
