OMG–Tigers Sweep, Yankees Weep

How about that? As a lifelong Detroit Tigers fan, since I grew up there, I was really hoping the Tigers would at least beat the Yankees to advance to the World Series.  But a sweep?! Holy cow!!I did not watch yesterday's game, since I was on the air and the TV has been removed from the studio, but I did sneak a peek at the score...and I say sneak because I was kinda nervous about the prospect. I was hoping for a decisive victory, because I wasn't sure how long those Yankees bats would remain dormant, especially after Jose Valverde blew a save in Game One.

So now it's on to the World Series beginning Wednesday in either St. Louis or San Francisco.  Hope Detroit wins!!
