Okay, I'm certainly no 'gamer', but I do love Plants vs. Zombies, so I'm very happy that the new version has been released. Best of all, it's free-to-play  on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.

Even if you're not a gamer, you'll love this game.

I don't even remember how I stumbled across this game, but I was hooked instantly. The 'Pop-Cap' game came out of nowhere and just took off. I was going to say "had a life of it's own", but I thought that would be a weak pun since it's about zombies. Notice, I still managed to sneak in the reference.

Pop-Cap was going to release the new version of the game back in July , but the world being what it is, they had to release a 'test' version first to make sure people wanted to play it. Obviously, the obvious isn't obvious to some people.

Plants vs. Zombies 2 features new touchscreen power-ups that let players interact with zombies directly, as well as plant food that lets them supercharge plants.
