New City of Lake Charles Transit Center to Open 12/11/13

It is the building where I got my first Louisiana Drivers License. Maybe I should say it is in the same location because it does not resemble the old building at all. You may have been wondering what they were converting the building into. Well be at the grand opening and find out.

According to the City of Lake Charles website ...

The new City of Lake Charles Transit Customer Service Center located at 1155 Ryan St. will open to the public on Monday, December 3, at 5:45 a.m.  The current Transit bus transfer location at north Ryan Street is being closed on Friday, November 30 at 5:45 p.m. An official grand opening and ribbon cutting for the new Transit facility will be held on location, Tuesday, December 11, at 1:30 p.m.   The public is encouraged to attend.

I am betting on free food!
