Movies Under the Stars Presents "Open Season Scared Silly" Friday April 15, 2016 [VIDEO]

The Calcasieu Parish Police Jury invites the public out to enjoy the Movies Under The Stars Spring Series 2016. The fun takes place now through Friday, April 22. This Friday April 15, Boog, Elliot and the gang are back. Come see what these besties get themselves into this time. Below is a look at the hilarious movie trailer.

April 15 - Open Season: Scared Silly

Don't miss the fun this Friday, April 15 as the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury presents a local favorite with the Movies Under The Stars Spring Series. The 2016 season is packed with blockbuster hits and family friendly movies everyone can enjoy. See your favorite movie under stars in the unique setting of Prien Lake Park, located at 3700 W Prien Lake Rd. in Lake Charles. Watch some of the biggest movies to hit the box office in a unique setting every Friday in April.

All movies will begin at dusk or 7 p.m., and will air every Friday in the month of April. This event is entirely free and, best of all, you can bring your favorite snacks! So come one, come all and enjoy! Be sure to bring your blankets, lawn chairs, the kids wagon, or cop a squat on the grass. A movie wouldn't be a movie without fresh popcorn, right? Plenty of snacks and refreshments will also be sold, compliments of Tikiz Gulf Coast and Mr. Gatti's Pizza.

In the event of inclement weather, the movie will be canceled until the next showing the following Friday.
