Move Over Beer Goggles, Coffee Goggles Are In

Apparently "Coffee Goggles" are a real thing according to a study out of the University of California at Davis.

Even though your forced to spend 8 or more hours a day with people that you wouldn't even give a second thought of hanging with outside of work...well...you probably get along pretty well with your coworkers.

So according to this new study, the theory is, the reason why you can stand the yahoos at work is: Coffee Goggles!

That's right.  Look, far be it from me to describe Beer Goggles, because I have never been drunk in my life, but the word is it makes you think people are more attractive.  However, coffee and caffeine are my bag baby!  And this study from CAL Davis says that Coffee Goggles make people seem better than they really are.

I think we can all agree that we are "happier" after a cup of coffee.  I mean, how many times have you heard someone say "I haven't had my coffee yet" to describe why they don't want to deal with you or someone else.

The researchers say that when people drink coffee before a conversation, it helps them focus and makes them feel more positively about the people they're talking with.

Wow, caffeine is an amazing drug!  If every office in America doesn't start offering coffee to their employees after reading this study, that would be a crying shame!
