We've come a long way with Easter candy from the days when it was just Cadbury eggs and Peeps.  They've got company now...a lot of company!

The website Influenster just released the results of a study on which Easter candy is the most popular in every state this year.

Some of the BIG winners of the survey are:

  • Cadbury Crème Eggs won 12 states
  • Peeps won five

But the rest of the states went for things like Snickers eggs, Reese's eggs, Godiva bunnies, and more.  Even things like Almond Joy eggs, Sour Patch bunnies, and Tootsie Roll eggs won a few states.

How did Snicker eggs not make the #1 Easter candy?  Let's be honest, the eggs are light years better than the regular Snicker bars.  It's a party in your mouth!

What do states around us like?

  • Texas: Snicker Eggs
  • Oklahoma: Cadbury Creme Eggs
  • Arkansas: Tootsie Roll Eggs
  • Mississippi: Reese's White Peanut Butter Eggs
  • Alabama: Hersey Kisses

The #1 Easter Candy in Louisiana according to this survey was Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.  Come on Louisiana, how bland and vanilla can we be?  That's a regular "pick up everyday at the gas station" candy!  Where in the world were all the Snicker Egg lovers?!  You didn't show up and now the whole United States are bagging on us for having a stupid favorite Easter candy!  Believe dat!

Below is the entire map, you can see what states phoned it in and which ones are reppin' proper Easter candy!
