Monkeys must be even smarter than we thought. This footage is from a BBC report that was following these wild monkeys around town. The reporter noticed something about the monkeys that he found very interesting.

It seems the primates in question were circulating amid the tourist and, from time to tie, would steal something from a tourist. They seem to favor sunglasses, but just about anything is fair game. After stealing the desired item, the monkey culprit would then return to his or her resting place and wait to see what happened next.

It was then that the BBC reporter noticed that, of all the things the monkeys were stealing, not one of them was stealing food. it was then that the reporter got the ideea of seeing if he could trade food for one of the stolen items. Watch this video to find out how this little experiment turned out.
