Misconceptions About Disney [VIDEO]

For some reason there are more misconceptions about Walt Disney the man and the company than there are about just about any other famous person or company you'd care to name. Most of those stories are revealed as false in the video from Mental Floss.

We've all heard that Walt Disney was cryogenically frozen and that he would be "thawed out" and treated for the cancer that killed him as soon as a cure was discovered. It makes for an amazing story, but it's just not true.

There is also a rumor that Disney was buried under one of the attractions at Disneyland. The truth is that, upon his death, Walt Disney was cremated and his ashes are interred at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale.
