Did you know that, each year, there are 9,563 babies born prematurely and that, of those babies, 1,900 are born with birth defects? Well, that's where the March of Dimes comes in.

The March of Dimes is there to help moms not only have full-term pregnancies, but healthy babies. In case something does go wrong, the March of Dimes has information and offers comfort to the families of those babies.

On April 18th, the March of Dimes will hold their annual March for Babies at the Lake Charles Civic Center Amphitheater.
