Making The First Move

A new government study of relationships found that couples who live together before getting married are no more likely to get divorced than those who don’t.  In years past, living together prior to getting hitched often predicted divorce (plus, society frowned upon it).  But times have changed- around 60% of couples today live together before getting married.  And many are opting to live together without ever making it official.  Considering that almost half of first marriages end within 20 years, some are of the opinion that  living together before tying the knot- isn’t such a bad idea!
