Yesterday's reports of the Arkansas Razorbacks offering Les Miles a 5-year, $27 million deal are officially null and void. Miles has signed a contract extension with LSU that will keep him at the university for 7 years.

According to ESPN.com

Miles' new deal runs through 2019 and amounts to a two-year extension. LSU athletic director Joe Alleva would not comment on the financial terms of Miles' raise, the first to his base salary since 2007.

Since Saturday, the Arkansas Razorbacks have been looking for a replacement since firing head coach John L. Smith. Previous reports of Les Miles entertaining their offers are officially out of the question and fans can ease their minds as the 85-20 since 2005 coach isn't going anywhere! Les Miles also stated:

I can tell you I very much respect those Razorbacks and how they played in that last game," Miles said. "But I'm an LSU head coach and I'll be an LSU head coach for as long as I can be.
