LSU Baseball Ranked Number 1 — McNeese Off to Hot Start

The LSU Tigers baseball team has started the season on five with a 7-0 mark so far. Collegiate Magazine has ranked them number one in the nation! McNeese State is also off to a hot start at 5-2. Both teams are in action this week. LSU will be putting it's number one national ranking ion the line every game.

LSU is off to a hot start in part thanks to junior pitcher Aaron Nola is is sporting a 0.00 ERA and 14 strike outs and only one walk allowed so far this season. The Tigers travel across the basin to take on Louisiana Lafayette tonight.

McNeese hot start has been fueled by senior center fielder Jason Gooch who has 12 hits and a 400 batting average so far this year. The Cowboys travel to take on the  Houston Cougars tonight.
