Louisiana Purchased Ticket Wins $50,000 In Powerball Drawing
Another big money Powerball ticket has been sold in Louisiana. The ticket for last night's (Nov 29) drawing matched four of the five white ball numbers and the Powerball to make it worth $50,000 to the person that purchased it.
It's just one more piece of evidence in my theory that lottery players in Louisiana have a special knack for winning cash on the national lottery games like Powerball and Mega Millions. Okay, maybe lottery players in our state don't have any mad skills in particular but maybe they just play the lottery a lot. I guess that makes sense too.

The $50,000 winning ticket was purchased at a Racetrac Gas Station/Convenience Store in Slidell. The holder of the ticket will need to contact the Louisiana Lottery office to make arrangements to claim their prize.
Meanwhile, the jackpot for the Powerball continues to grow. It is estimated to be $183 million when the balls drop again on Saturday night. The Mega Millions jackpot is estimated to be 190 million on Friday night.
