We were having some work done on The Lake van and this ticket was found in one of the many cubby holes and there are a ton of them since our van used to be an ambulance.

It's an interesting find since, if you will notice, the Saints were playing in Tiger Stadium.

When we first found this unused ticket, we thought the date on it was 2003, but one we examined it a bit closer we saw that the game was played in 2005 just a few short months after Hurricane Katrina turned the New Orleans Super Dome into an unusable eyesore.

The Saints divided up their season playing at San Antonio's Alamodome and Tiger Stadium. It was a rough season for the Saints on the scoreboard as well finishing up the season with a 3-13 record. At the end of that rough season, head coach Jim Haslett was fired. The Saints even played one home game at Giants Stadium in New York.

As for the game against the Bears, the Saints lost that one 20-17.

The season ended with the firing of Jim Haslett.
