It's a light show without rival. The Perseid meteor shower is one of the brightest of the year and it will be at it's peak tonight into tomorrow. Viewing it could be tricky. Our forecast is for partly cloudy skies, but here are a few hints for viewing.

For best viewing get as far as possible from ambient light in the city.

You won't need a telescope of even binoculars to view the shower if the cloud cover isn't bad.

The peak time for viewing will actually be just before dawn if you care to stay up that late, but the show will go on all night. Take some lawn chairs or blankets and get plenty of pictures.
