Local Library Book Sale Coming Up

There's always something going on at the library and the Calcasieu Parish libraries all have some great events for the entire family.

One of the most popular events is the Friends of the Library Book Sale and it starts this Sunday!

Friends of the Library-Calcasieu Book Sale:  3:00 p.m., Sunday, September 7. The Friends of the Library-Calcasieu will have books for sale until 5:00 p.m.

Friends of the Library-Calcasieu Book Sale:  10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 9. The Friends of the Library-Calcasieu will have books for sale until 12:00 p.m.

Successful Home Buying:  6:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 10.  Rick Lee, Realtor at Century 21 Mike D. Bono and Co.'s, and Kara Davis, Loan Originator at NOLA Lending, will teach attendees how to simply the home buying process.  Registration is not required but recommended.

Maker Hours:  4:00 p.m., Thursday, September 11.  Visit the Innovation Studio at Central Library every Thursday evening to tinker with fun technology, including 3D printing.  For more information visit www.calcasieulibrary.org/innovatelibrary.

Digital Devices:  2:00 p.m., Monday, September 8.  Library staff will assist patrons with questions about their digital devices.
