Talk about a hot topic. There is no middle ground on the subject of Common Core. People love it or hate it.

I'm going to plead ignorance on the subject. I have friends who are teachers and some of them think it's great and others think it's mainly what's wrong with modern education.

There is a local program called 'Parent's University' and it's a chance to learn what's really involved in Common Core.

There are several of the Parent's University classes scheduled. Here is the schedule of those classes.
