Lake Charles Community Band Spring Concert
March 16, 2012 8:09 AM The Community Band’s Spring Concert is this Sunday, March 18 at 3 p.m. at the Pavillion at Prien Lake Park. The Band will continue this years’ theme: Celebrating Louisiana’s Bicentennial; and they will be debuting a new piece of music composed specifically for the Lake Charles Community Band. The concert is free to the public, so bring your lawn chairs, blankets, and picnic baskets and get ready for a fun Sunday afternoon.
The Lake Charles Community Band includes several band directors, teachers, retirees, housewives, craftsmen, professionals, and students. The band is an all-volunteer group which is dedicated to sharing a love of music with the public.
