The City of Lake Charles is set to compete in the Cleanest City competition. There are many civic groups involved; but we all need to do our part. There are lots of ways you can help.

Lake Charles will be judged on Mach 27th by a panel of judges from the Louisiana Garden Club federation. You may have seen crews out mowing, picking up litter and planting flowers. You can help by cleaning around your home and business,

According to the Lake Charles American Press judges will travel a route along Ryan street, Moss Street, Broad, Enterprise, Second, Louisiana, Kirby, Pujo and Bilbo. The judges will begin and end their inspection at the Southwest Louisiana Convention & Visitors Bureau.

You can also help by not littering, picking up trash and placing it in trash cans and reporting littering when you see it. Let’s all pitch in and win this!
