By far, my favorite memory of my daughter's childhood was story time. I tried to read to her every night and it was my favorite part of the day. I'm so glad she grew up wanting to read and she's carrying on the tradition by reading to her kids. It was great bonding time and seeing her reaction to some of the stories was priceless.

It's Halloween and time and most kids love scary stories. Kids don't have that editor in their heads that tells them that some things just aren't possible. They really get into the stories and caught up in the drama of it all.

This little kid was obviously completely into the story his mom was reading. So much so that, when she read the part where one of the characters screams, his reaction was to scream as well. Wouldn't it be nice to be a kid again and get into something so completely that you become emotionally involved?
