Jusdge Orders BP to Continue Payments

The FBI is looking into fraud in the BP settlement payments. The good news is that the investigation is not about Louisiana claims. The other news is that BP must continue to make the settlement payments.

According to WWL.com U.S. District Judge Carl Barbier's order Wednesday says an internal probe by the claims administrator's office didn't find credible evidence of fraud involving employees of the settlement program's Mobile, Ala., claims center. A tip indicated that some employees at that office helped residents file fraudulent claims. So far this has not been proven so now the payments must continue.
