It’s Springtime, Kind of…

McNeese baseball takes to the field this afternoon – well it’s almost springtime! it must be, because the 33 man Cowboy roster takes it’s first practice today at 2:30 pm at Joe Miller Ballpark.  Fourth year coach Justin Hill welcomes back 21 letter-men and is aiming for a fifth consecutive Southland conference tournament appearance.

Fans are invited out to have a look at the team – the Cowboys open the season February 17^th against Stony Brook at 6PM as part of the Lake Charles Classic.

Ahh, spring is in the air – the smell of freshly mowed grass and hot dogs, put on a sweater and let's go!
