Iowa Caregiver Accused Of Ripping Off Client

Amanda l. Bebee, a 35-year-old from Iowa has been charged with stealing several collectable coins from a man she was supposed to be caring for.

Deputies started investigating Bebee back on June 7th after the man called authorities to report several of his rare coins were missing. After conducting an investigation into the matter, Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Deputies arrested Bebee.

Bebee was booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center, and charged with theft of items. The value of the coins has not been determined, but it's estimated that they have a value of between $5,000- and $25,000.

Bebee has been released on $10,000 bond set by Judge Robert Wyatt.
