International Family Day in the Park — This Saturday

I've had the pleasure of seeing Ms. Salemah Broussard perform several times, and she's got a great set of pipes, let me tell you. Salemah Broussard will present a great event this Saturday at Lock Park. The event is called International Family Day in the Park. The special day gets underway at 9:00am and runs until 8:00pm.

International Family Day in the Park is a national day of celebrating music and art, as well as a day for celebrating community, diversity, and tolerance. Sometimes, it's easy to forget just how many fascinating and varied cultures we have in the Lake Area.

Naturally, there's going to be music as well as a great variety of vendors with great food, and we all know the incredible variety of food we have in this area! You'll also have a great opportunity to do some shopping. This event is sure to have some great gift ideas, and there will be some great one-of-a-kind arts and crafts as well as a kid's zone.

Of course, the star of the show will be live music from such local greats as Chester and Jairus Daigle. Chester has been wowing Lake Area audiences for a long time, and his son Jairus is an amazing violin player who is sure to impress you. In addition to Chester and Jairus Daigle, you'll also get to enjoy the wonderful voice of Salemah Broussard and Company.
