Maybe there’s no reason to dread turning 30- apparently people are happiest at age 33!  Seven out of 10 people aged 40 or older said that 33 was the best year of their lives, with many saying they had more fun and felt more optimistic. Respondents credited work, family and relatively low stress for their contentment at age 33.  And forget that whole thing about college being the best time of your life- only six percent of people said they were happiest during their college years.  Experts say 33 is the ideal age because people are secure in themselves and their abilities.  They are also neither naïve nor jaded, and feel hopeful about what the future holds.  I've always thought I'd like to stay at 45.
